| We recommend the Minneapolis-St. Paul Light Rail System if your accommodations are near its route, otherwise, your hotel may have shuttle service to & from the airport if you don't have your own transportation. | |||
| Check out the links page. We definitely suggest you tour the rest of the Walker Art Center during your stay. The Mall of America is in Bloomington, and if you're looking to assemble some inexpensive yet stylish Swedish furniture, there's always IKEA. | |||
| We're spending a week in Maui with no internet access, very little phone usage, and hopefully nothing that has anything to do with work. | |||

During the summer of 1998, between his freshman and sophomore years at Iowa State University, Sean was sharing a townhouse with a friend named Molly. Molly was dating a guy named Mike that Sean knew from high school. Sonja was sharing an apartment with her friend Samantha, with whom she grew up. Sam knew Mike. Mike knew Sean. Sam knew Sean through Mike. On August 15th, Sam wanted to buy a new desk, so she called Sean, who was working part-time at the Staples office supply store in Ames, hoping she could use his employee discount to purchase a desk. Unfortunately for Sam, Staples does not have an employee discount program. All was not lost, however, because Sean did have a truck and could haul a desk to Sam's apartment, which he did happily, because it was a very boring summer. Sonja was sitting on their brown couch, wearing a gray "Navy Soccer" t-shirt with her hair in a ponytail watching Jerry Springer on television. Immediately, Sean knew he had found "the one." On August 17th , Sean & his roommate Molly threw a party at their townhouse so Sean would have a reason to invite Sonja over. The party went well, and the rest is history. Almost eight years later, Sonja + Sean will tie the knot on July 29th, 2006, at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and we hope you can join us. |
